# Incident 2027 at NITK: 6–7 March

## Pencilled in for 6 and 7 March

Incident hasn’t announced 2027 on its own site yet, but NITK’s academic calendar for January to May 2027 marks Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March as Incident. Treat it as pencilled in until the fest confirms.

It’s a March fest most years: 3 to 6 March in 2022, and 14 and 15 March in 2026.

- **Where:** NITK campus, Surathkal, on NH-66 about 22 km from Mangaluru towards Udupi
- **Who can go:** Students from any college in India, with registration and a valid college ID
- **Stay:** ₹299 a day with food last year, college ID upload needed

## Two days in mid-March

Incident 2026 ran on 14 and 15 March, and the fest’s site previewed Amit Trivedi for the 15 March night.

## Getting in

Incident is open to students from colleges across India. Register on the fest’s website and carry a valid college ID.

For outstation students there’s limited accommodation at a nominal cost: last year it was ₹299 a day, including stay and food, and you had to upload your college ID to book. Book early.

## Getting there

Surathkal railway station is the closest (NITK lists it at 4 km), and autos run from the station to the campus. Mangaluru Central station is 21 km away and Mangaluru airport 20 km.

Coming from Mangaluru? Skip the city bus. Any express bus to Udupi, Manipal, Kundapur, Bhatkal or Karkala drops you at the NITK Express Bus Stop.
