How it works
Three steps, no name
- DM @samosa.meets.chai on Instagram. Start the message with “CONFESSION:” so it doesn’t get lost between fest passes and canteen tips.
- Add your campus and year if you want, like “RVCE, 3rd year”. That’s the only detail we print with it, and only if you include it.
- We read every one. The ones we pick go up here, trimmed for length, with no name or handle.
The rules
What we won’t post
- Names, nicknames, photos or any detail that points to a real person. That includes “the tall guy in ECE section B”.
- Anything meant to hurt someone for their body, caste, religion, gender or sexuality.
- Accusations of harassment, ragging or any crime against someone who can be identified. Those need a real report, not a post: see the helplines below.
- Exam leaks, cheating tips or anything illegal.
What we’d love
Canteen crushes. Hostel chaos at 2 AM. The fest that changed your mind about your branch. The thing you wish you’d told your first-year self. Small wins nobody clapped for.
If it’s more than a confession
Confessions aren’t a helpline. If you’re not okay, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416. It’s free, open 24 hours a day, and you pick your language when you call.
If you’re being ragged, call the National Anti-Ragging Helpline on 1800-180-5522, also free and 24×7, or tell your college’s anti-ragging committee.
